About the Artist

Nene Thomas is an artist living in Oklahoma, specializing in fantasy art, especially powerful females in fantastical settings. In 1994, the publisher Wizards of the Coast approached her to contribute art to Magic: The Gathering. This was her first professional job. Since then she has published a book Parting the Veil: The Art of Nene Thomas, and partnered with fantasy artist Cindy McClure to create the Emerald Enticement fantasy doll. She also makes resin fairies with translucent wings.
