We love the Norse design on this very stylish and modern dragon clock. It’s a very striking image which makes a brilliant time piece for both dragon fans, and for those that like decorating their homes with items related to Norse mythology.
This dragon clock is made from printed polypropylene and has a plexiglass face. The frame is made from sustainable bamboo which can be left natural in colour or comes painted in black or white (see photo). It has a hook on the reverse for easy hanging and uses a quartz clock mechanism running off an AA battery. You can even choose what colour to have the metal dial hands!
This Dreki Dragon design is available on a vast variety of products including clothing, stickers, bags, homewares, stationery, prints, device cases and much more. Baconivore, the designer of this piece, also has some other great dragon products in his store so check them out!
Have you ever wondered what Dreki means? Well, the Faroese and Icelandic word for dragon is taken from Old Norse dreki, from Proto-Germanic *drakô (“dragon”), from Latin dracō (“serpent”). So now you know!
